The academy

A gym, not a showroom

Chun Wah is a neighbourhood academy built on one idea: a martial art is only worth something if it works under pressure. We teach principles before flourishes, everyone progresses at their own pace, and you are welcome whether you are 8 or 58. Beginners welcome all year round.

Five programmes, one mindset: solid technique, serious coaching, a healthy room.

Why Chun Wah

What is different here

Human-sized groups

Small enough for the instructor to correct every student, big enough to find varied partners.

A structured path

A clear syllabus per level with regular gradings: you always know where you stand.

No humiliation culture

Sparring is progressive and supervised. We train hard, never at a partner's expense.

What our students say

Placeholder review text. Ideally 2–3 sentences saying what the person was looking for, what they found, and what changed for them.

[Prénom N.]Student for 2 years

Placeholder review text. A parent review is valuable: it reassures other parents about supervision and safety.

[Prénom N.]Parent of a student

Placeholder review text. A complete-beginner review removes the main objection: "I'm not fit enough to start".

[Prénom N.]Beginner, self-defence
Frequently asked

Before you walk in

I have never done martial arts — can I start?

Yes. Most of our new students have no experience at all. Beginner classes start from scratch and you will be coached individually during your first sessions.

Do I need to be fit?

No. Fitness is built through practice, not before it. Every exercise has a scaled version and you stay in control of your own intensity.

What should I bring to my first class?

Comfortable sportswear, a water bottle and a towel. The official academy uniform is only needed after a few weeks. TODO: confirm with the club.

Is the trial class really free?

Yes, your first class is free with no commitment. Book your slot through the form or on WhatsApp. TODO: confirm the exact terms.

From what age can children join?

Kids groups take children aged 6 – 12, split into age bands. TODO: confirm the real age bands.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the plan (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and how many classes per week you attend. Contact us for the current rates. TODO: decide with the client whether prices go on the site.
